Special Olympics athlete and youth leader
Tanealya Hueth is a 23 years old from Great Falls, Montana who has been involved with Special Olympics for 8 years, as both an athlete and a youth leader. Tanealya initially got involved after her friend and mentor, Samantha McLeod, encouraged her to join the Great Falls Lions team and become a part of Special Olympics. Tanealya is a former National Youth Activation Committee member and currently serves as an advisor to the Montana State Youth Actication Committee. In 2011, Tanealya served as a youth facilitator during the Global Youth Activation Summit in Athens, Greece, as part of the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
