Political scientist (PhD), lecturer at Sciences Po Paris and Université Paris-Est Créteil
Thomas Guénolé is a French political scientist (PhD). He is a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris, where he teaches seminars called "Racism and discrimination in France" and "The Dark Side of Globalization". He also is a lecturer in geopolitics at Université Paris-Est Créteil. He is a columnist and an essayist. His most significant books are "Les jeunes de banlieue mangent-ils les enfants ?" (Does banlieue youth eat children?), preface by sociologist Emmanuel Todd, Bord de l'Eau publishing 2015 ; and "La Mondialisation malheureuse" (Unhappy Globalization), preface by geopolitical scientist Bertrand Badie, First publishing 2016. He is considered a left-wing, anti-racist and alterglobalization intellectual.
