Thomas DeLorenzo, JD, MPP

Health Law and Policy Expert, Graduate of USC Price School of Public Policy, and Southwestern School of Lawk

Thomas DeLorenzo completed his studies in May of 2015 at the University of Southern California, Sol Price School of Public Policy, earning his Master in Public Policy and his Certificate in Public Management. This year, DeLorenzo earned his JD from Southwestern Law School, with a focus on Health Law. Some of his areas of research include: The Reduction in Vaccination Rates in California; Mandatory Mail Order Pharmacy -- Pro and Con -- in California; The Drought and Water Policy Issues in Coachella Valley; Federal Indian Law; Health Care Law and Regulations; HIV/AIDS; and the HPV Vaccination Effective Rates. Prior to returning to school, DeLorenzo worked in Entertainment as a Publicist, representing many top stars of television and film. Some of his clients included Nancy Sinatra, Kathryn Joosten (Desperate Housewives), Lyndsy Fonseca (Nikita), Jensen Ackles (Supernatural), Alison Mack (Smallville), Heather Tom (Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful), Nicholle Tom (The Nanny), David Tom (Young and the Restless), Bobbie Eakes (All My Children), Bree Williamson (One Life to Live), and Chad Allen (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman). DeLorenzo graduated from Hofstra University with a BA in Psychology and opted to study acting in New York City before moving to Los Angeles to work in Public Relations. DeLorenzo had the honor to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts for a summer Shakespeare intensive acting workshop.
