Vincenzo's Plate

Chef, Food Blogger and Youtube @vincenzosplate

What’s tall, dark, handsome, entertaining and knows its way around a kitchen? The next sensation in home cooking and entertainment, Vincenzo’s Plate! Vincenzo’s Plate is a You Tube channel with a focus on cooking, determined to teach the world, one video recipe at a time that you don’t need to be a professional chef to impress friends, family and yourself with mouth-watering Italian dishes right out of your very own kitchen, whilst having a laugh (and a glass of vino!). Food enthusiast and comedian, Vincenzo Prosperi, is a 30-something year old Italian-born food lover. Now living in Sydney, his channel launched in late 2013, and his videos have collectively had over 1.7 million views and he has reached over 25k subscribers. Vincenzo created his You Tube channel with an aim to equip those interested, with the basics in Italian cooking (to start off with), teaching traditional techniques he has learnt from his Nonna (Grandmother), with a few twists and turns intertwined through every recipe. No matter what your flavour preference, there is a dish for every occasion, from a simple Spinach Frittata recipe to more difficult recipes like fresh pizza and bread dough, they are all home delivered the same way, via video recipe and in style. The concept for Vincenzo’s Plate, was devised when friends and family alike kept pestering the fashionable food lover for recipes of his dishes and although he would explain how very easy they were to recreate, few believed him and continued to dine out at Italian restaurants – some of which are an adaptation of the real thing, or as Vincenzo bluntly describes, “fake Italian food”. Vincenzo’s Plate now boasts a collective social media following of over 180k fans and with high demand for more frequent recipes and more videos based in Italy, the bigger picture is cooking away, with Vincenzo’s dream to one day bring his flair for entertaining and home cooking into kitchens and dinner parties all over the world via his own TV series and a documentary which fuses food with the hidden treasures of Italy and a wealth of laughter along the way. Vincenzo is not pretentious or pretending to be a master of all things food, he is relatable, friendly and makes Italian cooking attainable and not so serious! The Vincenzo’s Plate website and blog dedicated to all things food and fun went live in late 2014 as a result of increasing demand from followers all over the globe for more content. For Vincenzo’s Plate, food is not just a passion, it’s a way of life with a load of laughter along the way. Check out this snapshot, for a taste of Vincenzo’s Plate https://youtu.be/3cma8tec0d8
