Wes Hurley

Filmmaker, 'Capitol Hill' series, "Fallen Jewel", "Waxie Moon"

Wes Hurley is a Seattle-based filmmaker, born and raised in Russia's Far East. Hurley is one of The Advocate Magazine's People to Watch in 2015 and City Arts Magazine's Artist of the Year. His films include the award-winning documentary Waxie Moon, a queer pop-art extravaganza Fallen Jewel and the hit series Capitol Hill. Hurley is currently working on an autobiographical film about growing up gay in the Soviet Union.
