Whitney Gantt

Global Director, Mobile Agriculture, Grameen Foundation

Whitney Gantt is responsible for Grameen Foundation’s mobile agriculture strategy and leads the expansion of mAgriculture initiatives in new markets. She brings seven years experience designing and implementing mobile agriculture programs in East and West Africa and South and Central America. Prior to joining Grameen Foundation, Whitney worked in the public and non-profit sectors in education, civil society, and national resource management in the US and abroad. She excels in building and leading cross-functional teams who work closely with end-users and public and private sector partners to co-design and co-implement solutions to reduce poverty. Whitney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Colorado State University and a Master in International Public Affairs from the University of Wisconsin, where she led research on resiliency and natural disasters, participatory conservation, and gender in water management in the development sector.
