Will Perez, Ph.D., is an applied developmental psychologist and Professor of Education at Claremont Graduate University. He has studied how cultural brokering, family obligation, acculturation, biculturalism and ethnic identity are related to academic engagement among immigrant adolescents. He is widely considered the leading academic on the DREAM Act, a piece of stalled federal legislation which would assist undocumented high school graduates' path to become American citizens. His latest book is, We ARE Americans: Undocumented Students Pursuing the American Dream.
