William Heegaard

William recently finished his undergraduate major in Peace and Conflict Studies at UC Berkeley, and hopes to work in ambulatory medicine before returning to school.He originally became fascinated by the relationship between foreign policy and environmental science while researching
collective security in South America, and he wrote this thesis in an effort to understand how and why nations choose to cooperate in times of distress.
