William S. Becker

William Becker is an energy and climate policy consultant in Golden, Colorado. He served for 17 years as a senior official in energy efficiency and renewable energy at U.S. Department of Energy. He is an advisor and board member of several environmental organizations, and a member of the international Climate Change Task Force led by former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. His work has been featured in films, books and articles.

Bill is a former journalist and newspaper publisher who began his career as an Army combat correspondent during the Vietnam war, where he won the Bronze Star Medal. He is the author of “The 100 Day Action Plan to Save the Planet” published by St. Martin’s Griffin in New York.
