Hailing from Saginaw, MI, JimDre Westbrook is known as the “Worth The Wait Guy.” The 33-year-old virgin and entrepreneur resides in Las Vegas where he is co-owner of the lifestyle clothing brand LAYOP (Live At Your Own Pace). On his 30th birthday, Westbrook shocked family and friends when he announced via Facebook that he was still a virgin. Since then, he has been tirelessly spreading his messages of living at your own pace, entrepreneurship and faith on his blog site, worththewaitguy.com. Recently, he appeared on Steve Harvey's TV Talk show for a segment on virgin dating, The Tom Joyner Morning Show and has been featured on Essence, Ebony, JET, XO Necole and Black Enterprise websites. Additionally, Westbrook serves as a contributing blogger for The Huffington Post and regularly speaks to youth and groups about his journey and achieving personal success. In 2016, Westbrook embarked on a motivational speaking tour (See It Through) to spread his messages on a larger scale. "Living at your own pace is something everyone can relate to-- it's a universal lifestyle and message that promotes happiness and courage," says Westbrook. He also published two books in 2016, "Hashtag Motivation: Feed Your Mind" and "Hashtag Love: Open Your Heart." Hashtag Motivation achieved number one Best-seller status on Amazon. His latest book, "Hashtag Purity: Save Your Self," was just released in April 2017. Westbrook graduated from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), where he studied Sports Management and African-American Studies. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, living a healthy and clean lifestyle, listening to music and watching sports.
