Baker Overstreet on the ImageBlog

This painting is from my last show at Fredericks & Freiser, “Frown Upside Down”. My approach with these works stemmed from gag and novelty research. I’ve always been a fan of “cheap tricks” and “hamming” – shortcuts to an immediate audience response. I always seem to take the scenic route, however, when it comes to these shortcuts. This work is titled Worrius Relievium, copyright Baker Overstreet, courtesy of Fredericks & Freiser
