I had a conversation with Karl Rove, the former deputy White House chief of staff and senior advisor to President George Bush. He has been known as "the architect" and "boy genius" and even "Bush's brain." The president also called him "turd blossom."

We talked about his work for the president and what he thought about the effectiveness of his policies.
