A Global Meditation Moment for Our Plant Kingdom - Saturday, May 24th

One year ago, I gave a speech in New York City in front of 2,400 people at the March Against Monsanto. Instead of focusing on being "against" something, my speech centered upon what the March was "for." The March was "for" the labeling of all genetically modified foods; it was "for" bringing education and awareness to the topic of GMOs; it was "for" respecting nature in all forms. What we are "for" is what we have to focus our intentions on. After all, our thoughts and words are energy and energy creates.

Let's shift our intention on what we seek to create. We are collectively waking up and realizing that there are consequences to our actions. For every cause, there is an effect. We must be responsible for the energy we put out into the world. If we are angry about something, we must come up with a constructive solution. Send positive energy to the source of the problem and expect a positive solution.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and happens for our benefit. Every problem is a lesson and a chance to renew balance. That said, genetically engineered foods offer us a lesson regarding our imbalance with nature. It is an opportunity for us to recognize our ability to reinstate balance in the foods we harvest from the Earth. If we look at the situation from a positive perspective, we may realize that the genetic engineering of our food (cause) has actually connected people from all walks of life to each other and inspired a deeper connection with nature (effect). It has brought us back to our roots. It has inspired urban farming and consciousness about shopping locally. It has awakened us to our responsibilities as caretakers of the planet. It has ignited the fire in our hearts. Perhaps we can thank Monsanto for this because, unbeknownst to them, they contributed to our awakening.

This Saturday, May 24th, 2014, millions of people will march for our food freedom. It's time for a new paradigm. It's time for genetic engineering to cease. When we forcibly place the DNA of one organism into another, we violate the rights of those two organisms. Does a fish have rights? You bet! Does corn have rights? You bet! Does a soil organism have rights? Yes it does! In order to recognize they do, we must raise our consciousness to a place of understanding that all life is precious; as Dr. Seuss says, "no matter how small." When we feel this in our hearts, we realize the importance of upholding the genetic integrity of the universal design. As our awareness expands to love and respect toward all living things, we can create miracles. Collectively, we will explore new sustainable options that are in harmony with all life forms. As we change our thoughts, words and actions, this changes the energy. It lifts the anchor; so to speak. We can transmute the entire situation. How exciting!

If you think Monsanto is powerful, look in the mirror. As a collective, we hold the power to balance the imbalance Monsanto has created. We can affect change. We are collectively empowered to create a new ideal that benefits all and is in harmony with nature. We are at the helm of a miracle. As Earth creates balance within, we have the opportunity to support that balance through meditation, intention and focus. We hold the power to assist the workings of the Universe at its finest by continuing to make choices that are in harmony with our plant and our natural existence.

To coincide with the March this Saturday, the Master Shift has teamed up with Jeffrey M. Smith from the Institute for Responsible Technology and written a meditation for our plant kingdom. The "Meditation Moment for Our Plant Kingdom" is a guided meditation where people from each and every part of the world can come together at the exact same time to send out positive energy into our world. The free meditation will be available on www.themastershift.com on May 24th. Please join in at 9:30 PM Japanese Standard Time or 9:30 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time to be a part of the collective energy. Jeffrey M. Smith and Actress Carla Rae Holland are narrating the meditation. To find up-do-date information about the event, like The Master Shift on Facebook.

You are a vital part of the whole. What you do matters. What you say matters. As we individually and collectively take responsibility for our personal energy, we will change things throughout the world. If we hold on to anger, we are holding the situation in place. Instead, we must release and let go. We must focus our energy on what we can do; releasing worry and fear about the people who are not there yet. Our actions will inspire them. Love is a power that transmutes.

For this moment and every moment thereafter, train yourself to look for the silver lining in each and every seemingly negative situation. Collectively, as we do this, the actions we take will be of a different character enabling humanity to progress and evolve into a beautiful existence.

Join us Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 9:00 PM JST/EDT, www.themastershift.com. Together we will affect positive change.
