Goal Get It: The Coolest Products and Tips to Get Your 2013 Goals On

It's a brand new year and that means 365 fresh days to jump on whatever goals you might have in mind. Whether you're picking up a good habit, dropping a bad one, working to change something within yourself, or something on the outside, there is no better time than now. The best laid plans are always done with a little effort and order. Thanks to so many incredible product companies, there are plenty of things to keep you motivated no matter what you've got your sights on.

But before you delve into the fun part of sussing out the products you'll use for the job, a few quick tips that never fail are, of course, in order. First, make sure you don't take on too much. After all, life is full of plenty to juggle. Pick one thing to focus on to start. Next, get a good notebook or journal that inspires you and keeps you motivated. Believe it or not, something a little special can make the task all the more fun. Last, keep on it. It's said that it takes just six times of repetition to turn something into a habit.

For fun notebooks and journals, you'll find so many great sources. Kate Spade is notorious for chic and funky styles. Or if you prefer something pared down, you can never go wrong with Moleskine. Not only do most of the company's journals give plenty of pages but you can choose from a range of colors. If you want something a little budget friendly, any store like Target or CVS likely has some bright and cheerful options.

Grab yourself a great pen or pencil -- Z Gallerie has Swarovski crystal topped pens and pencils that are more than perfect for the job. Even if you grab something a little whimsical or unexpected, writing will be a bit more fun. If the old school style of pen and paper doesn't do the trick, take a visit to the app store on your phone or do a quick Google search -- there are plenty of digital options that have goal-getters like yourself in mind.

If getting motivated is a trouble for you, put a few pictures of what you're after in front of you -- seeing your want before you is a great way to stay on the course.
