Are Small Family Farms as Important as Local?

Earlier this week I posted my latest video about the organic mushroom farmers from Sweden Creek. Carol Ann, one of the co-owners of the farm had some really interesting comments on local food. She shared her experience with how the dogmatic adaptation of local has had a negative impact on some of their business. In this short interview Carol explains a little bit more about her situation and provides a few suggestions for a different type of marketing of sustainable food.
