Jeremy Lockhorn and Jonathan Hull are the visionaries behind the Emerging Experiences and Media Labs at Razorfish. It is their job, indeed very much their passion, to foresee the ways in which media is transforming and how brands can innovate alongside it. Both of them are laser focused then on how different communication tools -- whether in the digital or physical world -- are converging, and in many cases, colliding.
I had the chance to spend some time in their worlds as both Labs were recreated at the Razorfish Converge Summit in Las Vegas. Jonathan brought in partners like Audi and Delta who creating unique experiences that allow consumers to be hands on with the brand, whether through product or content. The Emerging Experiences lab even showcased some of their own innovations, including a fabric wall that emitted different sounds based on contact. (We had quite the jam). Jonathan brought in partners from the media space with game-changing technologies available now and many who were only imaging what the future holds.
