Magician David Blaine On McCain's Debate Escape Stunt

Suspended high above Central Park as part of a "batman stunt" performance yesterday, magician David Blaine shared thoughts on John McCain's political high-wire act this week, in which the candidate has suspended his campaign and sought to postpone Friday's scheduled presidential debate.

Blaine dangled for 60 hours above the park, roughly the same time John McCain has been asking for a pause in the campaign in order to focus on "addressing the nation's financial crisis."

Blaine gave Debate Porridge his upside-down expert analysis of McCain's presidential-debate escape stunt. The magician was impressed.

"Wow, he's very clever that McCain. He's very sneaky... Wait, but so somebody can just decide not to show up to the presidential debates?"
