Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller are the husband and wife principals of Carrier and Company Interiors. Challenged to create a space inspired by the movie Igby Goes Down, Carrier and Company impart their creativity to a create a sensational interior. They draw inspiration from the movie's set design, weaving a narrative into the space by channeling the spirit of the movie into the Designer Visions Showhouse. The textures of the performance inspire the rich texture and stylistic layering in the room. The interior is a layering of organic textures and accessories, modern art and lighting and traditional proportions -- all executed remarkably.
