Okay, so Radiohead didn't play Occupy Wall Street after all.

Fine. We'll just make our own playlists to memorialize the occupation of Wall Street in protest of a system some say is unfairly rigged to favor a tiny, wealthy minority, while others call it perfectly fair and wish those protesting would just get a job already.

Radiohead's would-be appearance may have been a hoax, but other bands have already played or appeared at the Occupy Wall Street protest in New York City: Jeff Mangum, Kanye West, Moon Hooch (we haven't heard of them either), Lupe Fiasco, Tom Morello, and Pete Seeger, among others.

We've included those artists and many others in these shared Spotify playlists, but they're not done. You can help. Both playlists are collaborative, meaning that you can add whatever songs you want. Of course, you can also be a jerk and delete the whole thing, which someone inevitably does whenever we run these playlists. That's okay; I'll be caching copies as we go, so we can always reconstruct them. We have the technology (see also: this).

Have a listen, add some of your own suggestions to the mixes, and please, enjoy, regardless of your stance on the OWS protests:
