We're still not 100 percent sure if Jon Snow is dead dead. But we were gifted a bunch of other tidbits of information throughout 2015 that gave us a fuller picture of our favorite shows, songs and stars.
How expensive is Hogwarts? Who is "You're So Vain" about? Whatever happened to Mr. Turner in "Boy Meets World"? Is "Hit Me ... Baby One More Time" really about domestic abuse?

1. Harry Potter named his son "Severus" out of gratitude and forgiveness toward Severus Snape, who loved Harry's mother, Lily Evans.
2. Kanye West doesn't smile because smiling doesn't look cool.
3. On "Zoey 101," Zoey declared Chase might be her "soulmate" on the DVD she put in the time capsule she buried, even though that footage doesn't exist.

13. President Obama's favorite "Game of Thrones" character is Tyrion Lannister.
14. In the "Boy Meets World" universe, Mr. Turner actually survived his motorcycle accident, married a nurse who took care of him and went on to become a school superintendent.
15. George Costanza's fiancée Susan was killed off on "Seinfeld" because the actress who played her, Heidi Swedberg, didn't have great comedic timing.
16. The drops of Jupiter in Train's "Drops of Jupiter" aren't a metaphor -- they're based on literal pieces of the gas giant that appeared in a dream Pat Monahan had one time.
17. Charlie Sheen wasn't in the "Two and a Half Men" finale because he didn't like the "maniacal rant about the dangers of drug abuse" the screenwriters wrote for his character.
18. Jennifer Grey can't do that famous lift she performed with Patrick Swayze in "Dirty Dancing" again because she barely rehearsed it to begin with.
