The Hangover, about three friends searching for their lost friend, was written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. That pair also wrote this weekend's new release, 21 and Over, which is about three friends searching for a lost house. Now, if you see 21 and Over, you might be tempted to compare some similarities between the two films. But, you see, these two movies are nothing alike. Nothing.
As an example, I would guess that the first page of 21 and Over's script looks nothing like this:

Morning dew rise off the campus. Standing in the middle of the campus is Miller. He's in his early 20's, tall, rugged-- and currently a mess. His shirt is gone, penis has a sock over it, his ass is bloodied, and he clearly hasn't slept in days.
To prove how different these two movies are, here are a few examples of just how different 21 and Over is from The Hangover.
The Hangover: Starts about halfway through the story, then reverts back to the beginning.
21 and Over: Starts about three-quarters of the way through the story, then reverts back to the beginning.
The Hangover: The characters are celebrating their friend's upcoming wedding.
21 and Over: The characters are celebrating their friend turning 21.
The Hangover: The guest of honor has to be back early in the morning for a wedding.
21 and Over: The guest of honor has to be back early in the morning for an interview.
The Hangover: The main characters can't find the guest of honor.
21 and Over: The main characters can't find the guest of honor's house.
The Hangover: The guest of honor goes missing.
21 and Over: The guest of honor goes missing, but for not as long.
The Hangover: At one point, a live tiger is on the loose.
21 and Over: At one point, a live buffalo is on the loose.
The Hangover: There is an overbearing girlfriend who gets her comeuppance.
21 and Over: There is an overbearing dad who gets his comeuppance.
The Hangover: Along the way, a member of the group meets a stripper with a heart of gold, which sparks a romance.
21 and Over: Along the way, a member of the group meets a sorority girl with a heart of gold, which sparks a romance.
The Hangover: The characters are threatened by a gang of Asian men.
21 and Over: The characters are threatened by a gang of Hispanic women.
The Hangover: A character loses a tooth.
21 and Over: A character gets branded on his buttocks.
The Hangover: An Asian man is driven around inside the trunk of a car.
21 and Over: An Asian man is driven around pressed up against the windshield of a car.
The Hangover: The characters realize where their friend is after talking to a man that sells drugs.
21 and Over: The characters realize where their friend's house is after talking to a man that takes drugs.
The Hangover: Is a funny movie.
21 and Over: Is not a funny movie.
