Dozens of dogs have been rescued from an alleged puppy mill south of Chicago.
After the Friday rescue, the animals were moved to a Humane Society shelter in suburban Chicago Heights.
Friday morning, 52 puppies were found stuffed into two small sheds on a property in St. Anne, Ill., which is south of Kankakee. Ten of the dogs are pregnant.
