Have you assessed your best hair and makeup colors by determining whether you have a cool or warm skin undertone and stopped there?

There are three components to every color we see, including our own personal natural coloring (hair, eyes, lips, skin etc.) — undertone is just one of three.

The three components are:

1) Undertone - the underlying tone of color (cool is blue-based, warm is yellow-based).

2) Value - light or dark or somewhere in between.

3) Intensity - soft or bright or somewhere in between.

When we wear colors that are in harmony with all three of the above components of our own unique, beautiful personal natural coloring, we give off a sparkle! Our eyes sparkle, our skin appears refined and vibrant and we in general feel fantastic when we look in the mirror.

In the video above, I demonstrate why it is best to also assess what value and intensity of colors are in harmony with you. By doing so, you will be in a better position to choose hair, makeup, clothing and accessory colors that make you sparkle!

I hope this blog post inspires you to wear your authenticity!
