Aaron Dobson Touchdown: Marshall Receiver Makes Backhanded, One-Handed Catch Against East Carolina (VIDEO)

College WR Makes Stunning Backhanded, One-Handed TD Catch

Marshall wide receiver Aaron Dobson started off Saturday's game against East Carolina with a 77-yard touchdown catch on the first play. So there was no way he would be able to top that, right? Wrong.

In the final minute of the first half, quarterback Rakeem Cato lofted another pass to Dobson in the back of the end zone. With a defender in his face, Dobson couldn't adjust his body to the trajectory of the pass. But that didn't stop him from getting a hand on the ball. Dobson leaped up, reached over the defender and somehow, made a backhanded and one-handed touchdown catch.

Commence jaw drop.

Dobson finished the game with 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns as Marshall went on to win in overtime 34-27, becoming bowl eligible for the first time under second-year coach Doc Holliday.
