ABC Orders Additonal Script Of New Shows; 'The Mindy Project' Gets Extra Episodes

Which Fall TV Shows Are Getting Extra Episodes?

If you've been digging ABC's shows this fall, you're in luck.

The network has ordered additional scripts for new shows "666 Park Avenue" and "Last Resort." Meanwhile, popular series "Modern Family," "Grey's Anatomy" and "The Middle" have been given additional episodes for 24 total each, while "Castle" will have 23.

But ABC isn't the only network tacking on extra episodes. Fox's "The Mindy Project," which was recently picked up full a full season, has upped its episode order from 22 to 24.

While "Last Resort" has seen decent ratings this fall, "666 Park Avenue" hasn't fared quite as well, with ratings slipping each week.

Still, Rachael Taylor -- who plays the naive Jane Van Veen on the show -- has faith the cast will be able to carry a successful season.

"I've been so impressed by the quality of work all of our guest stars just come in and deliver," she told HuffPost. It's a really great experience for me to watch all these amazing actors, not to mention Terry and Vanessa, and how they aren't afraid to make the show we want to make."

"666 Park Avenue" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
"Last Resort" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
"Modern Family" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
"The Middle" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
"Castle" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
"The Mindy Project" airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET on Fox.

UPDATE: According to Deadline.com, Fox's "Raising Hope" (Tues. at 8 p.m. ET) and "New Girl" (Tues. at 9:00 p.m. ET) have also gotten 24-episode orders.
