Something was bugging him.

A Florida man accused of exposing himself in a women's restroom told officers he was simply trying to remove an insect from his clothing.

ooLLorenzo Adan Ramirez, 28, of Tavares, was arrested Tuesday, one day after a woman reported being the victim of a flasher at the Laurel Manor Recreation Center in The Villages, Florida.

Ramirez told deputies he was doing landscaping in the area when a bug got into his clothing, according to the Daily Commercial.

The suspect said he went to a restroom to get the insect out and mistakenly chose a public restroom designated for women not men.

The alibi is so bizarre that it might seem impossible to make up. However, Ramirez also fit the description of a man accused of exposing himself in the same restroom three days earlier, according to Villages-News.com.

That victim told WFTV.com that she was in the bathroom when a man, later identified as Ramirez, barged in.

"I said, 'Am I in the wrong door?' because I'm new here,'" she explained. She said the suspect replied, "I don't know," and walked out as the victim walked out to check the door.

The woman said she thought it was an innocent mistake, until she heard about the other incidents.

In addition, Ramirez was arrested in January, 2012, for allegedly trying to take an upskirt video of a woman while she was renting a movie at Walmart, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Ramirez was arrested on two counts of voyeurism and taken to the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $2,000 bond.
