Adam Lambert Blames Vodka And Jetlag For Fight With Boyfriend In Finland

Blames Vodka And Jetlag On Fight

Earlier we reported that "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert was arrested on assault charges in Helsinki, Finland, after a heated fight with his boyfriend, local reality TV star, Sauli Koskien.

Lambert and his boyfriend were released from jail on Thursday afternoon, but he wants you to know they've made up and it's now all water under the bridge -- blaming it all on the deadly combination of vodka and jetlag.

Did you get that? They got blackout drunk, became angry, went to jail, feel totally guilty about it, and now they are laughing and eating burgers.

At least someone is laughing, because last time we checked domestic violence isn't funny and being drunk is no excuse.

Lambert's boyfriend, a winner on the Finnish version of "Big Brother," later blogged about the incident, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Written in Finnish, Google translated the post to say:

"Celebrities are people too and fame is not easy. Love is not always easy either, but it's forever." He added, "the hangover is already gone" and "paparazzi, police stations have back doors, too, go away already."

Finnish media had reported that a fight between the two men began in one of the back rooms of gay club DTM (Don't Tell Mama), and continued on the street after they were kicked out.

One of the couple's friends, Finnish beauty queen Sofia Ruusila, told reporters when she tried to break up the fight Lambert hit her by mistake.
