It actually sounds ... upbeat?

And after Adele's performance at Radio City Hall on Tuesday, we can confirm that her newest song, called "Water Under the Bridge," is not only your typical, gorgeous Adele ballad, but it's also pretty upbeat.

Though the song hasn't officially been released yet, the 27-year-old singer spoke about it with DJ Zane Lowe of Beats Radio One. Apparently, it's about her longtime partner, Simon Konecki, whom she has a son with.

"'Water Under the Bridge' is more like, I'm waiting for him to be horrible but I don't think he's gonna be, waiting for the relationship to end," said Adele to Lowe, by way of the Mirror. "This is the relationship now that I'm gonna be in. It was quite a groundbreaking moment."
