Alec Baldwin sure has had a busy few weeks. In early April, Baldwin's rep confirmed to The Huffington Post that he is engaged to 28-year-old girlfriend Hilaria Thomas. But the frenzy surrounding the "30 Rock" actor and his yoga-instructor fiancee's engagement may have been a little too much for the 54-year-old actor to handle.
Since announcing his plans to walk down the aisle, paparazzi have been doing whatever it takes to snap a photo of the man of the moment.
"A photographer attempting to snap a shot of @hilariathomas backed up into and tripped over a baby in a stroller. Man.....," Baldwin tweeted on Wednesday.
So what's a Baldwin to do? Pack up and head to Italy.
"So nice to be in Rome, where the paparazzi don't step on a baby to get a photo......" he later tweeted.
But, unfortunately, better food and a foreign tongue doesn't translate to paparazzi-free zone. Photographers snapped pictures of the pair, hand in hand, strolling through the streets of Rome. But it looks as if Baldwin has a soft spot for Italian photographers -- he happily dipped Thomas and went in for a smooch as the prying paparazzi snapped away.
