Alex Lange, Parents On Ed Show: "Glaring Example" Of The Need For Reform (VIDEO)

Bernie and Kelli Lange, parents of the now famous baby Alex, went on the Ed Show tonight to discuss the recent whirlwind that engulfed them when the insurance company Rocky Mountain Health Plans refused to cover their new son Alex because they deemed him too fat.

The Langes told host Ed Schultz how they were shocked when they found that Alex had been rejected for being overweight. They had had problems with their older son's weight when he was an infant, he had been colicky and a bit underweight, so they were thrilled with Alex's robust appetite and health.

Bernie harbored no ill will towards The Rocky Mountain Health Plans insurance company, instead saying that Alex's ordeal is a "glaring example" of how the health insurance system in America is in urgent need of reform.
