Amy Winehouse Was Engaged To Reg Traviss: Report

Report: Amy Winehouse Secretly Engaged?

In the never-ending news spiral surrounding the final days of Amy Winehouse, The Sun reported Tuesday that the singer had quietly accepted an engagement proposal from film director boyfriend Reg Traviss just a few weeks before — complete with a diamond ring. This report follows (now-disputed) rumors that Winehouse was planning on adopting a 10-year-old St. Lucian girl with whom she had bonded on a trip to the Carribean.

A devastated Traviss, 35, had previously told the tabloid that Winehouse had been in good spirits and health before her sudden death on July 23rd in North London at the age of 27.

Winehouse had been married once before, to video producer Blake Felder-Civil in 2007. The relationship lasted just over two years, with Winehouse dedicating the track "You Know I’m No Good” to her ex-husband. Several tracks off her forthcoming posthumous album also allegedly dig into the details of her failed relationship with Felder-Civil, now imprisoned for criminal violence.
