Woman Accused Of Speeding Tells Cop: 'No Wonder You People Get Shot'

"I see a total disrespect for law enforcement right here."

A Florida woman who was ticketed for allegedly speeding through a school zone at more than 30 miles per hour over the limit had some harsh words for the sheriff's deputy who pulled her over.

(NOTE: This post contains strong language.)

"No wonder you people get shot!" Joy Feinberg of Boynton Beach told the Palm Beach County sheriff's deputy as he handed her the ticket, according to dashcam footage.

"You're absolute assholes," she added.

Feinberg was allegedly driving at 51 mph through the school zone, which has a speed limit of 20 mph.

The ticket will cost Feinberg $606 if she is proven guilty, according to the Palm Beach Post.

"I see a total disrespect for law enforcement right here,” Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told CBS 12. “This isn't a deputy making an arrest. This is a deputy trying to make sure kids are safe in a school zone.”

The department released both a one-minute edited clip of the encounter as well as the full 15-minute encounter.

In the longer clip, the driver does not immediately pull over. When she does, she asks the cop for identification and, after seeing his badge, asks for more identification. She also questions the accuracy of his radar, and repeatedly pleads to be let off with a warning.

"No ma'am," says the deputy, who has not been named. "Not in a school zone."

After she tells the deputy "no wonder you people get shot," he returns to his car -- but she wasn't done with him yet as she can be heard shouting at the officer.

What she says at first is not clear, but eventually the deputy returns to Feinberg and tells her that she will have to take the driver's license exam again, "because you don't understand why I'm doing my job."

"Well you're a double asshole," she tells him.

"Thank you, appreciate it," the deputy says. "Drive safely."

"Yeah, asshole," she repeats.

"There seems like there's this trend of disrespect when here's a deputy trying to save children's lives, and somebody has got to talk to us like that?" Bradshaw said, according to WSVN, the local Fox affiliate. "I think it's unacceptable."

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department shared the clips on social media, posting the video on both Twitter and Facebook:
