Anna Wintour Memoir In The Works: Report

Tell-All In The Works?

The latest gossipy tidbit in fashion's rumor mill? An Anna Wintour tell-all book, penned by the Vogue editor-in-chief herself.

TheMortonReport.com wrote on Friday that Wintour might be shopping a memoir after 23 years at the helm of Vogue and the New York Post dug a little deeper on Monday morning, speculating that Wintour has been seeking out potential co-authors since last spring, with Vogue fashion news director Mark Holgate standing out as a frontrunner.

Although a rep for that magazine has said the rumor is "absolutely not true," we, along with Page Six, cannot help but note that notoriously reserved editrix has been more partial to the spotlight as of late, killing the crowd in five words at the Webby Awards, sitting for a cover-story profile for WSJ magazine, speaking out for marriage equality and appearing on "60 Minutes" and other television programs like "Jimmy Fallon."

The Observer adds that both Diana Vreeland and Grace Mirabella, who came before Anna, released tomes about their time spent at the glossy.
