Anthony Stewart Head is eying a return to American TV with The CW's "The Selection."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Head will play King Clarkson, the ruler of a future nation in the "Hunger Games"-esque pilot that's set 300 years in the future. The drama centers on a young woman selected at random to compete against other women for a prince's hand in marriage.

The pilot also stars Yael Grobglas, Michael Malarkey, Sean Patrick Thomas, Peta Sergeant, Celia Massingham and Lucien Laviscount. The CW produced a pilot for "The Selection" last development season, but the network decided to retool it for this season.
