Arthur Huntington, Ex-Secret Service Agent, Faces Fresh Allegations

Controversy-Plagued Secret Service Agent Faces Fresh Allegations

Arthur Huntington, a married ex-Secret Service agent who became embroiled in controversy swirling around a prostitution scandal last month, is facing new allegations of sexual indiscretion, according to the New York Daily News.

An unnamed 42-year-old Canadian woman told the Empire State-based outlet that she slept with Huntington prior to the ordeal and felt "sick" when she learned he was married. She reportedly said she met Huntington in Ireland last year when he was on duty in the European country protecting the president.

The AP reported earlier this month:

The chairman of the Senate committee with jurisdiction over homeland security says he's scheduled a hearing for May 23 to review the Secret Service investigation of the Colombia prostitution scandal.

Sen. Joe Lieberman [told] CNN's "State of the Union" that he believes the agency has done a thorough job in investigating the incident. But the Connecticut independent also wants to know whether there were warning signs about agents' behavior.

He also wants to hear what steps are being taken to ensure something similar doesn't happen again.

Lieberman [said] the Secret Service director, Mark Sullivan, will be called to the hearing by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

The woman who spoke to the New York Daily News said she decided to go public with her accusations because Huntington's wife had a right to know that her husband's alleged infidelity wasn't "a one-time thing."
