Christina Anderson, HuffPost Style Fashion Editor, Gets Vintage Makeover Inspired By Audrey Hepburn (PHOTOS)

For starters, a bold brow can be your best friend.

On Valentine's Day , many women try to look sexy, sophisticated, glamorous and demure, all at the same time -- and if there is any actress in Hollywood who had that down pat, it was Audrey Hepburn. The British film and fashion star was the picture of elegance, whether she was dripping in diamonds in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or wearing black leggings in "Funny Face." Hepburn got her start in ballet and theater, and after a few movies, her career skyrocketed.

Earlier this week, we came across a stunning photograph of Ms. Hepburn in a fitted black dress, sensible heels and a beautiful arm cuff, and we couldn't stop staring. Not only did we love her ensemble, but we became instantly obsessed with her sexy red lipstick and thick brows. Though it would be hard to channel the woman who popularized cropped black pants, sheath dresses and French twists, there is no one better to emulate on the most romantic day of the year than Audrey Hepburn.
