'Avengers' Commercial: Roman Coppola Directs Insurance Ad Tied To Marvel Blockbuster (VIDEO)

WATCH: Roman Coppola's 'Avengers' Insurance Ad

The "Avengers" is so big, even hipster filmmakers are taking a bite out of pie. Director Roman Coppola -- Francis Ford's son, and the co-writer of Wes Anderson's upcoming "Moonrise Kingdom" -- has filmed a new commercial for Farmers Insurance that spoofs "The Avengers" while simultaneously celebrating them.

The spot -- which begins airing on televisions on April 16 -- has a lo-fi feel that recalls "Be Kind Rewind." It's also called "Suit Up," so you know at least Barney Stinson would be happy. Check it out above, but don't expect to see Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner or Scarlett Johansson; the only star present is J.K. Simmons, of "Spider-Man" fame.

"Marvel's The Avengers" arrives in theaters on May 4. "Moonrise Kingdom" hits screens in limited release on May 25.
