Bei Bei The Baby Panda Greets World, Falls Asleep

You do you, Bei Bei.

Bei Bei the baby panda is totally DGAF about meeting the world for the first time.

The 4-month old cub adorably snoozed his way through his much anticipated media debut at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday. He even left tiny drool stains all over the table.

The little panda can be seen wiggling with excitement in his handler's arms as they bring him out, and apparently was lively in his enclosure just before his appearance. But all that rollin' around in the bamboo must have exhausted little Bei Bei, because the second he hit the table, he was down for the count.

The Washington Post video shows journalists and photographers asking questions and hoping for a good photo op. But Bei Bei is all like "WHATEVER GUYS, I'll sleep whenever I want!"

After weighing in at 17.5 pounds, Bei Bei decided to go back to doing what he does best: dozing off, and looking cute as can be. His nonchalance and overall DGAF attitude only makes him more lovable. Because nobody puts Bei Bei in the corner.

Bei Bei was born in August to the National Zoo's resident panda, Mei Xiang, and will make his public debut at the zoo on Jan. 16, according to CNN. If all goes according to plan, Bei Bei will head to China when he's 4 years old and fulfill his destiny of fathering baby panda cubs for the world to gush over.
