This Panda Cub Is TOO Cute, As If That's Even Possible (VIDEO)

WATCH: Here's A Baby Panda Riding A Pony. Enough Said.

We're ringing in the new year with -- you guessed it -- more giant panda cuteness!

This time, we're taking the spotlight off of the National Zoo's panda cubs and showcasing a different furry herbivore at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan, China. This cub, born in 2013, is captured riding a plastic pony. Because the little panda can barely fit over the toy, we're not really sure if he's actually riding it, or just chewing on it. Regardless, the cuteness level will knock your socks off.

The giant panda is listed as endangered on the IUCN's Red List of Threatened Species. Only an estimated 1,600 individuals still exist in the world, with 300 of those living at zoos and breeding facilities, mostly in China. The Chengdu facility was established in March 1987 to further research, breeding and conservation efforts of the Chengdu Zoo.
