'Bad Teacher' Premiere, Shakespeare In The Park Gala, And More (PHOTOS)

Bad Teachers And Shakespeareans Party

Summer galas are springing up around town before the city becomes a sticky-hot furnace. Last night saw a bunch of great events, from the opening film of the Byrant Park screenings to the Shakespeare in the Park Gala, where New York luminaries like Steve Martin and Liev Shrieber came out to support the new season of plays at the Delacorte Theater.

The new comedy Bad Teacher had its premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre, and the film's stars Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jason Siegel were all on hand. Also in attendance were a random assortment of New York Housewives, Weird Al Yankovic and Kirstie Alley.

The pop star Robyn played a show at JFK's terminal 5 (there are concerts at JFK?) and hundreds of pushy New Yorkers fought their way into picnic bliss before Milos Forman kicked off Bryant Park's summer crop of free movies.
