High School Students Arrested For Stealing Fish-Shaped Mailboxes

It's been a week of bizarre high school thefts. While Los Angeles County schools were hit by tuba heists, a group of high school students in New Berlin, Wisconsin were caught by the police for stealing fish-shaped mailboxes. The theft ring called themselves the "Bass Hunters."

Seven of the mailboxes have been recovered, according to Fox6Now. The students involved now face a fine of over $400 each for stealing -- in addition to reimbursing the owners for the price of replacing the mailboxes -- and possible community service time.

Other unusual high school thefts in the news recently include a candy thief who was tackled by the cops (watch here), a 15-year-old who stole credit cards and used them to buy $500 worth of pizza, and a Canadian teen who broke into a garage, stole ribs from a freezer and cooked them on the homeowner's barbecue.
