'Homeland' Wins Best Drama

"Homeland" took home the statue for Best Drama Sunday night at the 2013 Golden Globes, winning the category for the second consecutive year.

The Showtime CIA thriller, which stars Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin, beat out fellow nominees "Breaking Bad," "Boardwalk Empire," "The Newsroom" and "Downton Abbey" for the Best Drama win.

Earlier in the night, "Homeland" star Damian Lewis won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Sgt. Nicholas Brody.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the 2013 Golden Globes ceremony from the International Ballroom at the Beverly Hilton. The proceedings were broadcast live on NBC.
