Being slow and somewhat lazy give sloths a bad rap. But thankfully, people have realized how cute these furry guys are, with some groups even dedicating different days to the animal. According to National Geographic's Lucy Cooke, International Sloth Day is recognized on October 20th by the AIUNAU sloth foundation, which runs a sloth sanctuary in Colombia. Meanwhile, the National Aquarium in Baltimore is holding a baby sloth naming contest, with plans to pick the winning entry on November 16th.
