Biden F-Bomb Tee Shirt: Organizing For America Uses Gaffe As A Fundraising Tool

Organizing for America, President Obama's political arm, is continuing the White House trend of happily owning Vice President Joe Biden's "f-bomb" from last week by using it as a fundraising tool.

A new "Health Reform Is A BFD" tee shirt is now available on the Organizing for America Web site for a donation of at least $25. (UPDATE: Contrary to an earlier Politico report, DNC officials say the initial order of shirts sold out in less than 24 hours but more are being printed and people will absolutely get their shirts in a timely fashion.)

Organizing for America is facing stiff competition for tee shirt sales, however. Almost immediately after Biden told Obama that the passage of health care was a "big f---in' deal" other Web sites sprung up in an attempt to capitalize on the open-mic gaffe.

"There are things that are a big deal -- birthdays, anniversaries, the NCAA Championship game," Organizing for America wrote in a fundraising note. "And then there are things that are a BFD, like delivering health insurance to 32 million Americans."
