Blago Talk Show: Blagojevich To Host Late Night Web Series

Blagojevich To Host Late Night Web Series

Rod Blagojevich's media blitz does not seem to be slowing down. Chicago Sun-Times columnist Michael Sneed reported Wednesday that the embattled former governor might be hosting an online talk show in the near future.

"The Late Net Show" is expected to tape in New York in mid-February, about a month before Blago makes his debut on Donald Trump's "The Celebrity Apprentice." Though the 40-minute show is set to have a different celebrity host each week, Blagojevich has reportedly shown interest in doing extra episodes. Some other celebrities may be on board as well. Sneed reports:

"We're in talks with Donald Trump, Alec Baldwin and Floyd Mayweather to be guests on the show," according to Charlie Oliver, founder of the Web site artoftalk.tv, which will run the show.

The show will also have a band to coincide with the host's style--Elvis impersonators might be Blago's match.

The attention-loving Blago is apparently "super-excited" about the opportunity, and considering his love for being...so candid, it will surely attract some viewers.

The show will feature a "Blago's Book Club" segment and a roundtable discussion on hot topics. Viewers will also be able to dictate content by voting online. Choices will include hearing Blago sing an Elvis song, recite a poem or movie monologue, or dish advice on subjects ranging from relationships to job searching.
