Prepare For Blake Shelton's New Album To Be All About His Divorce And Gwen Stefani

Shocking, we know.

Wait, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are dating?! Like, dating each other? But they've been so private about their relationship.

In case the two "Voice" coaches haven't made you like them yet (see: here), prepare for both of their new albums to make you eye roll till you can't eye roll no more. Stefani's "This Is What the Truth Feels Like" is set to be released on March 18, and a new single from Shelton will most likely debut shortly after. Of course, both are going to be heavily influenced by the couple's rollercoaster of a relationship.

Standing clap for this shamefully synchronized publicity move.

"I mean, it doesn't take, you know, a rocket scientist. If you have followed my career even a little bit in my life, you know what has happened with me in the last, gosh, eight or nine months," Shelton told Entertainment Tonight about the new album. "It is all on the the record."

The country star and the pop punk princess made waves when they started dating shortly after their respective marriages to Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale each crumbled in 2015.

"I can put my life experience, whether it's a divorce or my new girlfriend, whatever those experiences are, whatever things that are happening in my life, I have an outlet for them," Shelton added. "I have music. I can write songs, I can sing about it."

If Stefani's Shelton-inspired "Make Me Like You" wasn't enough to satisfy your curiosity about their relationship, Shelton promises that you'll hear his new sound "really soon."

"New single coming out -- I don't know the exact date," he revealed. "I do, but I am supposed to say I don't know the exact date ... When it comes out, you are going to be like, 'I can't believe he didn't tell me it was going to be that soon!'"

Shelfani (is that what we're going with?) made quite the impression at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party on Sunday, posing together on the carpet for the first time since they announced their romance.

According to a fellow attendee, Stefani and Shelton "acted like giddy teenagers at a high school dance." And that's all we're thinking about when we look at their Vanity Fair portrait. Watch those eyes, Blake.
