'Bones': Booth Records Touching After-Death Message For His Daughter (VIDEO)

'Bones': Booth Records After-Death Video For Daughter

Booth and Brennan prepared to die on the latest episode of "Bones." Okay, so they're not planning to die any time soon, but they wanted to make sure they had everything in order should it happen. That meant talking about wills, and learning that they were on vastly different pages as far as that goes.

Brennan's will was more than 300 pages long while Booth's was written on a post-it note. They talked about their last wishes, which would have Booth and their daughter, Christine, heading off to spread Brennan's ashes on a volcano. Sure, it would be a sad moment, but it still paints a beautiful picture for the grieving father-and-daughter.

Booth decided to record a message for their daughter, in the event that he were to die. "I’m the luckiest man in the world, because I got to spend time with your mother and with you," he said, pushing Christine to make sure she loves life, lives it to the fullest, and helps Brennan to be happy.

It was a touching scene, that touched Brennan standing behind him. But that's what makes "Bones" work so well. It's a crime procedural with heart and a love story at its center. "Bones" airs Monday at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
