Bonnie McKee opened up about her bisexuality in a recent interview, saying she first realized because of the game "doctor."
The singer-songwriter sat down with Joan Rivers for an episode of "In Bed with Joan" this week. The topic of her sexuality came up when the comedian asked what she thought of Justin Bieber.
"I've definitely had sex dreams about him, I can't control it," she said. "He's really pretty. He looks like a hot lesbian. I'm into that."
Rivers then asked if McKee is bisexual.
"Yes, I am," McKee said. "I think it's one of those things where, you know, I think all little girls kind of play 'doctor' with their girlfriends, and then I kind of never grew out of it."
The 30-year-old has been dating producer Oliver Goldstein for seven years. But in her latest music video, "Sleepwalker," McKee shares a kiss with their video's leading lady.
While she might be working on her solo career, McKee is best known for writing mega-hits for pop music's biggest stars, including Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Clarkson and Britney Spears. She co-wrote "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream" and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)," as well as "Roar" for Perry.
