Brent Celek Hurdles Ed Reed In Eagles' Win Over Ravens (VIDEO)

Eagles' Celek Flies Over Ed Reed

When playing the Baltimore Ravens, it's usually best to avoid safety Ed Reed at all times. Philadelphia tight end Brent Celek took a different approach on Sunday and ran directly at him, and it worked.

In the middle of the third quarter of the Eagles' 24-23 win, Michael Vick dropped back and found Celek wide open to his right at the 35-yard line with plenty of space to run down the field. Reed came closing in on him near midfield, but Celek hurdled right over the Pro Bowl safety untouched and gained another five yards.

The play went for 24 yards and the Eagles went on to score a field goal to tie the game at 17.

While the concern before the game was whether lingering injures would sideline receivers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin (both played), it was Celek who emerged as Vick's most reliable target, finishing with eight catches for 157 yards. And thanks to Dan McQuade , we can watch him embarrass Reed over and over again (just guessing Ravens fans won't want to).
