Brittney Griner Shares Photo From Her Wedding With A Message Of Love

Newlyweds Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson are letting fans in on their Phoenix wedding.

Griner and Johnson got married Friday in front of 75 guests at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, People magazine confirmed. The 24-year-old WNBA players said "I do" after getting engaged last August.

On Sunday, the Phoenix Mercury player took to Instagram to share a photo of her and Johnson along with a sweet message.

"I don't care if the the world was ending at this moment! Nothing could of kept me from my wife ❤️ I think I cried the whole day until I saw her walking down that [aisle]. Then in [an] instant I was calm and full of love and all the tears turned into huge smiles and a joy that no one can explain unless you have found and married your soulmate," she wrote.

Johnson, who plays with the Tulsa Shock, also shared a photo Sunday from the wedding for Mother's Day. In the shot, she and Griner stand with their moms at the ceremony.

Last month, Griner and Johnson were arrested after they got into a physical fight at their Phoenix home. Griner was charged with assault and disorderly conduct, and pleaded guilty to the latter. She will attend 26 weeks of domestic violence counseling and all charges will be dismissed.

"It is never OK for an argument to turn physical," Griner said in a statement released through her attorney to USA Today. "This will never happen again, and I take my relationship and my responsibility as a role model seriously. I am committed to making positive changes and I plan to use what I have learned to set a good example and help make a difference in the world around me."
